** SPECIAL EVENT **

Clive Pearson (the 1st SAMG Chairman and now the Penalva ISP (Gawler) owner/manager.) will discuss aspects of operating Penalva and answer questions. Clive's health has prevented him from attending meetings in Adelaide in recent years so he is looking forward to seeing everyone again.

1. A scenic train ride by meeting at the Adelaide Railway Station at the ticket office before leaving at 11:23 am (express to Dry Creek) and arriving at Gawler Central the gateway to the world's finest wine district at 12:16 pm.
2. Lunch at the newly renovated Gawler Arms Hotel in Murray St (main street) Gawler from about 12:30 pm for one of those lovely country pub meals including smorgasbord.
3. Visit Clive Pearson's Penalva ISP site in Murray Street (almost opposite the hotel) from about 2:00 to 4:00 pm.
4. A return trip to Adelaide on a late afternoon train leaving at 4:54 pm and arriving back in Adelaide at 5:50 pm.

This will be a really good day out for a total of about $20 each for the full program and one you should not miss.

All of the above items are optional. Some northern suburbs members may wish to catch the train along the line (Dry Creek or beyond). Car travellers can park in the supermarket car park (empty on Sunday) in Murray St close to the hotel and meet us for lunch or even just simply attend the site visit.

NOTE: There will be no Friday May 9 meeting at the WEA for a video conference with Clive as previously advertised. This Sunday May 4 visit replaces the normal Friday night meeting.
